2013 BAT REGULATIONS(Must Read)
Rule Change: It will be called a balk.
If the pitcher while contacting the rubber, fakes a throw to first or third base and fails to complete the throw. The pitcher is required to step directly toward the base before throwing the ball (except 2nd base).
